Welcome Dr. Matt Sobon!!

September 17, 2025 Dr. Matt came to the exciting world of veterinary medicine as a second career. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. His first career was in computer science, and he worked in the printing industry for 16 years as an electronic printing specialist. During college, he met his wonderful wife, Lynn, and their family includes three adult children and three grandchildren.  Dr. Matt’s wife works as a hospice nurse in the SE Wisconsin area. Their home has always been full of many animals, but currently they only have a senior cat. He finds teaching new pet owners very rewarding, and he especially enjoys all the puppies and kittens. Additionally, he has interests in surgery and internal medicine. Outside of work, he likes to dabble in woodworking, gardening, and photography. He is seldom found without his camera since you never know when the “perfect shot” will present itself.
